Yellowmead Down
Yellowmead Down near Sheepstor in Devon, England, is a Bronze Age concentric stone circle consisting of four rings of stones set within one another. The largest is 20m wide and the smallest, 6m. They once encircled a burial cairn although this is now barely visible. To the south west, several possible stone rows lead away, crossed by a post-medieval leat that once served a nearby tinworks. The site was excavated and restored by Rev. H Breton in 1921.
Burrator Reservoir
Burrator Reservoir is a reservoir on the south side of Dartmoor in the English county of Devon. It is one of a number of reservoirs and dams that were built over the course of the 19th and 20th centuries in the area now covered by Dartmoor National Park to supply drinking water to the rapidly growing towns in the surrounding lowlands. Burrator Reservoir was completed in 1898, and the reservoir was expanded in 1929.

Meavy
Meavy is a small village and civil parish in the English county of Devon. Meavy forms part of the district of West Devon. It lies a mile or so east of Yelverton. The River Meavy runs near the village. For administrative purposes the parish is grouped with the parishes of Sheepstor and Walkhampton to form Burrator Parish Council, and for electoral purposes it is grouped with the same two parishes to form Burrator Ward.

Clearbrook Halt was a railway station serving the villages of Clearbrook and Meavy in South Devon, nine miles to the North of Plymouth, and a mile and a half from Yelverton.
Huckworthy
Huckworthy is a small hamlet on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, England. With just 11 houses in a steep valley the hamlet epitomizes the rural wilds of the area. The River Walkham runs through it, dissecting the community in half and setting the scene for the picturesque Huckworthy Bridge that has been featured in wildlife, travel and historical programs over the years. The bridge is also featured in Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.

Roborough Rock
Roborough Rock (also known as The Rock) is a tor-like igneous rock outcrop immediately south-west of Yelverton, Devon. It is located at the southern end of the former RAF Harrowbeer airfield on Roborough Down, next to the border with the A386. This location created problems for the airfield ruring the Second World War, as two runways were positioned in front of the rock.
