Studholme is a hamlet in the English county of Cumbria. Studholme is located about a mile north-west of the village of Little Bampton.
Port Carlisle
Port Carlisle is a fishing village in the City of Carlisle, Cumbria, England, one mile from Bowness-on-Solway—grid reference NY241622. Historically within Cumberland, its original name was Fisher's Cross, and the port was built in 1819. Four years later, a canal link was added to take goods to Carlisle Basin. The canal was closed in 1853 and Port Carlisle silted up.
