Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania
Bryn Mawr (from Welsh for "big hill") is a census-designated place (CDP) in both Radnor Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia along Lancaster Avenue and the border with Delaware County. Bryn Mawr is located toward the center of what is known as the Main Line, a group of picturesque and affluent Philadelphia suburbs stretching from the city limits to Malvern.
Rosemont (SEPTA Regional Rail station)
Rosemont Station is an above-ground commuter rail station located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia at Airdale Road and Montrose Avenues in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. It is served by most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains. Rosemont Station was originally built by the Pennsylvania Railroad between 1863 and 1871 (appears on 1871 atlas). As a modern SEPTA station, the building is also occupied by a real estate broker's office and underwent renovations for this use in 1983.
American College Arboretum
The American College Arboretum (35 acres) is an arboretum located on the campus of The American College (Bryn Mawr, PA), 270 South Bryn Mawr Avenue. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum began in 1959 when the college started preserving trees, and was formally established as an arboretum in 1994.
