The Oval (Caernarfon)
The Oval is a multi-use stadium in Caernarfon, Wales. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Caernarfon Town F.C.. The stadium holds 3,000 people, with 250 seats. The seats were purchased from Shrewsbury Town when they became surplus to requirements due to the demolition of Gay Meadow.
Pont Rug (Halt) railway station
Pont Rug was a railway station located to the east of Caernarfon, Gwynedd, where the A4086 road crosses the Afon Seiont. The station was closed for regular passenger services in 1932 but freight trains passed through until the line closed in December 1964.
Lôn Eifion
Lôn Eifion is part of Lôn Las Cymru, the Welsh National Cycle Route, which is about 400 km long. Lôn Eifion is the section which runs for 20 km from Caernarfon to Bryncir along most of the former Caernarfon to Afon Wen line. This line was that of the Carnarvonshire Railway, and joined with the Cambrian Coast Line at Afon Wen.
A4085 road
The A4085 is a 20-mile road between Caernarfon and Penrhyndeudraeth in North Wales that runs through the scenic Aberglaslyn Pass. There are several locations where the road is of substandard width. The road begins at the southern apex of a triangular one-way system in Caernarfon on the A487 . It heads south, signposted for Beddgelert.
Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen
Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen is a Welsh language medium comprehensive secondary school for pupils aged 11-18, situated in Caernarfon, Gwynedd, Wales. The school was established in 1894, the first to be built under the Welsh Intermediate Education Act of 1889 of the educator Sir Hugh Owen, after whom the school was named. The school currently has over 900 pupils and its headteacher is Elwyn Vaughan Williams.

Caernarfon Mithraeum
The Caernarfon Mithraeum is a Roman Temple to the Roman god Mithras. The temple was located 137 metres north-east of the Roman castra of Segontium on the outskirts of modern Caernarfon in Gwynedd, Wales. The remains were discovered by accident on 2 April 1958 and excavated by the National Museum of Wales in August of the following year under the direction of George Boon.
Battle of Tuthill
The Battle of Tuthill took place at Caernarfon on 2 November 1401 during the revolt of Owain Glyndŵr. Glyndŵr's success at the Battle of Mynydd Hyddgen the previous June had provided the revolt with fresh impetus, and the battle may be seen as indicative of his determination to foster revolt in the north-west after months of relative inaction in that area.
