The summit is marked by a large shelter cairn, hollowed out from an ancient burial cairn. The views include Rhos Fawr, Drygarn Fawr, Pen y Garn to the south and Aran Fawddwy, Glasgwm, Tarrenhendre and Tarren y Gesail to the north.
Elvis Rock
The Elvis Rock is a rock alongside the A44 near Eisteddfa Gurig in Ceredigion, Wales. It is one of the most iconic pieces of graffiti in Wales, probably the most iconic in mid-Wales. This is mainly due to its placing on the main trunk road through the country, and the fact that the word “Elvis” seems to some incredibly out of context compared to the area and landscape.
Pen y Garn
Pen y Garn is one of the highest mountains in the Cambrian Mountains, Mid Wales standing at 610 metres above sea level. Pen y Garn tops a 500–600 m high plateau situated on which is the controversial Cefn Coch wind farm. The summit contains a very large shelter cairn hollowed out from the remains of an ancient burial cairn. The summit also has a trig point. The wind turbines are very near the summit.
