Traeth Bychan

Traeth Bychan (Bychan Beach in English) is a small but popular beach on the isle of Anglesey, or Môn, Wales. The beach faces eastwards and so offers shelter from the prevailing southwesterly winds. A popular beach with walkers along the Anglesey Coastal Path as well as members of the Red Wharf Bay Sailing and Watersports Club.

Llanbedrgoch railway station

Llanbedrgoch railway station was situated on the Red Wharf Bay branch line between Holland Arms railway station and Benllech, the penultimate station on the line off the main Anglesey Central Railway. Opening in 1909 it was a very simple station with only one short platform on the Up (east) side and a wooden waiting hut. It was an unstaffed request stop with no goods yard or sidings. The station closed in 1930, as did the line itself to passenger trains, and the station building removed.

Red Wharf Bay and Benllech railway station

Red Wharf Bay and Benllech railway station was the terminus station of the Red Wharf Bay branch line, which ran between Holland Arms and Benllech, off the Anglesey Central Railway. The original plan had been to build the station 0.1 mile from Red Wharf Bay, but the final plans saw it built half a mile south of nearby Benllech. Opened in 1909, the station was one of the, if not the, biggest on the line.

Cors Goch National Nature Reserve (Anglesey)

Cors Goch National Nature Reserve is principally a fen in a shallow valley near the village of Llanbedrgoch, on the eastern side of Anglesey. The site is managed by the North Wales Wildlife Trust and also includes calcareous heath, meadow and an acid heath overlain on millstone grit. There is some area of open water including Llyn Cadarn but much is marsh or shallow bog which supports a species rich ecosystem dominated by reeds.

St Mary's Church, Llanfair Mathafarn Eithaf

St Mary's Church, Llanfair Mathafarn Eithaf is a small medieval church in Anglesey, north Wales. The earliest parts of the building, including the nave and the north doorway, date from the 14th century. Other parts, including the chancel and the east window, date from the 15th century. It is associated with the Welsh poet and clergyman Goronwy Owen, who was born nearby and served as curate here. He later travelled to America to teach at The College of William & Mary, Virginia.

St Gallgo's Church, Llanallgo

St Gallgo's Church, Llanallgo is a small church near the village of Llanallgo, on the east coast of Anglesey, north Wales. The chancel and transepts, which are the oldest features of the present building, date from the late 15th century, but there has been a church on the site since the 6th or early 7th century, making it one of the oldest Christian sites in Anglesey. Some restoration and enlargement took place during the 19th century.
