Wymondham railway station

Wymondham is a railway station in the town of Wymondham in the English county of Norfolk. The station is served by local services operated by East Midlands Trains and Greater Anglia on the Breckland Line 10+⁄4 miles west of Norwich to Peterborough and Cambridge. Wymondham station is also the junction for the Mid-Norfolk Railway, although currently their passenger trains, running 11+⁄2 miles north to East Dereham, operate from the separate Wymondham Abbey station.

Black Carr

Black Carr is a hamlet in Norfolk, England. It is close to the village of Bunwell. Its neighbouring town is Attleborough. It has a triangular area of grass which used to be a common and has a rustic pond. Many of the houses here are timber framed and from as early as the 15th century. Its name describes the black boggy mud that the area has.

Wymondham Bridewell

Wymondham Bridewell was the local prison or bridewell in Wymondham, Norfolk. The site was in use as a prison from as early as 1619. The present, grade II listed building, building dates from the 1780s. It closed as a prison in 1878. Since then it has had various uses including police station and courthouse. At present the main part of the building houses the Wymondham Heritage Museum.
