Littlemoor

Jordan Hill Roman Temple is a Roman ruin situated on Jordan Hill above Bowleaze Cove in the eastern suburbs of Weymouth in Dorset, England. grid reference SY701820. Amateur excavations in 1843 found coins that suggest the site was used in the 4th century, during the later years of the Roman occupation. The Roman temple is thought to have been pagan, as similar archaeology nearby at Maiden Castle and at Lydney in Gloucestershire show a resurgence of paganism at this time.

Chalbury Hill And Quarry is an 11.9 hectare biological and geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Dorset, England, notified in 1977. The site consists of grassland (10.3 hectare) and a disused limestone quarry (1.6 hectare). The SSSI includes the area covered by Chalbury Hill Fort.
