Magdalene College, Cambridge
Magdalene College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge, England. The college was founded in 1428 as a Benedictine hostel, in time coming to be known as Buckingham College, before being refounded in 1542 as the College of St Mary Magdalene. Magdalene College has some of the grandest benefactors including Britain's premier noble the Duke of Norfolk, the Duke of Buckingham and Lord Chief Justice Sir Christopher Wray.

The Pepys Library of Magdalene College, Cambridge, is the personal library collected by Samuel Pepys which he bequeathed to the college following his death in 1703. At his death, there were more than 3,000 volumes, including the diary, all carefully catalogued and indexed; they form one of the most important surviving 17th century private libraries.

Jesus Green Swimming Pool
Jesus Green Swimming Pool is a lido situated on Jesus Green in Cambridge, England. Opened in 1923, it is one of the few remaining examples of the lidos built across the country in the 1920s — open air pools with space for activities other than swimming. Unusually, the pool is significantly longer than it is wide — this was a design idea to mimic swimming in the nearby river. It opens for public bathing between May and September every year.

The Collection has come about as the result of many generous gifts and loans from artists and donors.
Jesus Lock
Jesus Lock is a lock on the River Cam in the north of central Cambridge, England. This is Lock No. 1 on the navigable portion of the River Cam. It was built in 1836 and is the only lock in the city. Jesus Green Lock Cottage, the former lock-keeper's cottage, is by the lock on Jesus Green. It is owned by the Conservators of the River Cam and is rented out to students. The lock is located north of Jesus Green, which itself is north of Jesus College, hence the name.

On the northern edge of Jesus Green is the River Cam, with Chesterton Road on the opposite side. To the east is Victoria Avenue and beyond that Midsummer Common, common land that is still used for grazing. Victoria Avenue crosses the Cam at Victoria Bridge, connecting to Chesterton Road, at the northeastern corner of Jesus Green.

To the northeast is Castle Hill, the location of Cambridge Castle, and the Cambridgeshire Shire Hall. To the southwest is St Peter's Church and Honey Hill.
Chesterton Road, Cambridge
Chesterton Road (part of the A1303) is a road in the north of Cambridge, England. The southwestern part of the road is known as Chesterton Lane. This links with Northampton Street at the junction with Castle Street to the northwest and Magdalene Street leading southeast across the River Cam into central Cambridge. At the northeastern end there is a roundabout, linking with Elizabeth Way to the south, continuing Cambridge's inner ring road to the east.

Victoria Road is a major road in the north of Cambridge, England. The road is designated the A1134. At the western end, the road links with Histon Road (B1049, leading north out of Cambridge towards the large village of Histon, on the other side of the A14), Huntingdon Road (A1307, leading northwest out of the city to link with the M11 motorway), Mount Pleasant, and Castle Street. In 1950, there were plans to improve this junction, but they never came to fruition.

At the southern end, the road links with Huntingdon Road, Victoria Road, Mount Pleasant, and Castle Street. At the northern end of the road it continues as Bridge Road into the village of Histon. Much of the housing on the road dates from the . For example, Langham House, a block of flats, is typical of the era.
St Peter's Church, Cambridge
St Peter's Church, Cambridge is a redundant Anglican church, now maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust. It is situated on the west side of Castle Street, Cambridge. To the west is Honey Hill and St Peter's Street is to the north. On the south side of the churchyard is Kettle's Yard art gallery. It is in the Parish of the Ascension of the Diocese of Ely. St Peter's is now a single-cell church with a west tower and an octagonal 14th century spire with dormers.

Histon Road Cemetery, formerly Cambridge General Cemetery, is a cemetery in north Cambridge, England, lying off Histon Road, opened in 1842. It is notable as one of only three designs by John Claudius Loudon, who covers it in detail in his influential book On the Laying Out, Planting and Managing of Cemeteries (1843); the other cemeteries associated with Loudon are Bath Abbey Cemetery, and Southampton Old Cemetery (where his plan was rejected).
