Talbiya

The 6th Airborne Division in Palestine was initially posted to the region as the Imperial Strategic Reserve. Beit Kadima
Beit Kadima (lit. Kadima House) is a residential building complex in Jerusalem, Israel located on the west side of Kiryat Shmuel. The British Mandatory authorities built it in 1945 to house the families of British officers. In the end, it was used by UNSCOP Commission, whose members lived there while drafting the UN Partition Plan prior to the establishment of the state. The building was designed by architect Otto Hoffmann and constructed by an Egyptian housing company.

Havat HaNoar HaTzioni
Havat HaNoar HaTzioni, known in English as the Israel Goldstein Youth Village, is a youth village and high school in Jerusalem, Israel. Havat HaNoar HaTzioni was established in 1949 as a home for 40 Jewish orphans who lost their families in the Holocaust. It was named for Israel Goldstein, a prominent rabbi and Zionist leader. Today the school has 400 students, many of them new immigrants.
