The Kiryat Menachem bus bombing was a suicide bombing which occurred on November 21, 2002 in a public bus in the neighborhood of Kiryat Menachem in Jerusalem, Israel. 11 people were killed in the attack and over 50 were injured. The Palestinian Islamist militant organization Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.

It is famous for its collection of wildlife featured in the Hebrew Bible, as well as its success in breeding endangered species. According to Dun and Bradstreet, the Biblical Zoo was the most popular tourist attraction in Israel from 2005 to 2007, and logged a record 738,000 visitors in 2009. The Malha Arena (officially Lea and Maurice Goldberg Sports Hall) is the home arena of Hapoel Jerusalem basketball team. The arena is located in Jerusalem's Malha neighborhood, across from Ramat Denya and Ramat Sharett. Malha Arena has a seating capacity of 2,246 permanent seats, with an additional 754 standing room.
