Al-Quds University

Al-Quds University is a Palestinian university with campuses in Jerusalem, Abu Dis, and al-Bireh. It was founded in 1984, but its official constitution was written in 1993 when Mohammed Nusseibeh, its first Chancellor and Chancellor of the College of Science and Technology, announced its formation.

Talpiot Tomb

The Talpiot Tomb (or Talpiyot Tomb) is a rock-cut tomb discovered in 1980 in the East Talpiot neighborhood, five kilometers south of the Old City in East Jerusalem. It contained ten ossuaries, six of them with epigraphs, including one with the inscription that has been interpreted as "Yeshua bar Yehosef" ("Jesus, son of Joseph"), though this text is not well-formed (i.e. sloppy) and highly disputed. The tomb also yielded various human remains and several carvings.

Tolerance Monument

The Tolerance Monument is an outdoor sculpture located in a park near Goldman Promenade in Jerusalem, Israel. The monument was designed by Polish sculptor Czesław Dźwigaj, known for his religious art, in collaboration with sculptor Michal Kubiak. The project was funded by Polish businessman Aleksander Gudzowaty to promote peace and tolerance in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

East Talpiot

East Talpiot or Armon HaNetziv is a neighborhood in southern East Jerusalem, established in 1973 in the upswing of building that followed the Six-Day War, in an area unilaterally annexed to Israel but internationally recognized as being a part of the Palestinian territories. The international community considers Israeli neighborhoods in East Jerusalem to be illegal settlements, but the Israeli government disputes this. East Talpiot is one of Jerusalem's ring neighborhoods.

Ras al-Amud

Ras al-Amud is a Palestinian neighborhood in East Jerusalem, located southeast of the Old City, overlooking Silwan to the south, Abu Dis and al-Eizariya to the east, and the Temple Mount (known to Arabs as Haram ash-Sharif) to the north. Nof Zion

Nof Zion is a Jewish religious neighborhood in East Jerusalem near the Arab neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber. Today, Nof Zion is a private residential project built on Jewish owned land. The Israeli Supreme Court rejected an appeal from local Arab residents who had claimed some of the land belonged to them. Upon completion the neighborhood is planned to include 480 apartments.

Peace Forest

Peace forest is a forest in South - Southeast Jerusalem, Israel, between the Abu Tor neighbourhood and the Sherover Promenade. It was a location of the biblical Etsel river mentioned in the book of Zechariah (currently only a riverbed is left in place). There is a number of graves of the Second Temple era found in the Peace Forest, some of which have Hebrew inscriptions on them.
