Orange County is a county located in the U.S. state of New York. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area and is located at the northern reaches of the New York metropolitan area. The county is in the state's scenic Mid-Hudson Region of the Hudson Valley. It was named in honor of William III of Orange, who was greatly esteemed by the English settlers of the region. Goshen (village), New York
Goshen is a village in and the county seat of Orange County, New York, United States. The population was 5,454 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. The village is within the Town of Goshen, some fifty miles northwest of New York City, on New York State Route 17 in the center of Orange County.
Orange County Government Center
The Orange County Government Center, located on Main Street in Goshen, New York, is as its name suggests the main office of the government of Orange County. It houses most county officials' offices and meetings of the county legislature. The records of Orange County Court and all deeds and mortgages filed in the county are kept there as well. An office of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles is located on the first floor.

Good Time Park was a mile-long race track in Goshen, New York that hosted the Hambletonian harness race from 1930 to 1956.
Goshen Intermediate School
Goshen Intermediate School educates students in grades 3-5 in the Goshen Central School District, covering the eponymous village and town in Orange County, New York. It is located on McNally Street in the village, not far from the other Goshen schools. The building was constructed in 1967. It is the newest building in the district after the high school. For the first nine years of its existence, prior to the construction of the high school, it was used as the district's middle school.
C. J. Hooker Middle School
C.J. Hooker Middle School educates students in grades 6-8 in the Goshen Central School District, located in the eponymous Goshen village and Goshen town in Orange County, New York, USA. It is located on Lincoln Avenue. It is the oldest school building in the district, and was used as its high school before the construction of Goshen Central High School's present building in 1976. Its distinctive cupola plays a supporting role in the Goshen skyline when viewed from a distance.
First Presbyterian Church of Chester
The First Presbyterian Church of Chester is a Presbyterian church in Chester. It is located along NY 94 in the eponymous village in Orange County, New York, United States. The current church building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, is the third in the history of the congregation, on as many locations. Two additions have been built but the building otherwise remains intact, a well-preserved example of a 19th-century rural American church.
