It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. The village is located in the town of Warwick. Florida is at the convergence of Routes 17A, 25, and 94. Florida has its own school district consisting of Golden Hill Elementary School and S.S.

Goshen is a village in and the county seat of Orange County, New York, United States. The population was 5,454 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. The village is within the Town of Goshen, some fifty miles northwest of New York City, on New York State Route 17 in the center of Orange County.

Orange County Government Center

The Orange County Government Center, located on Main Street in Goshen, New York, is as its name suggests the main office of the government of Orange County. It houses most county officials' offices and meetings of the county legislature. The records of Orange County Court and all deeds and mortgages filed in the county are kept there as well. C. J. Hooker Middle School

C.J. Hooker Middle School educates students in grades 6-8 in the Goshen Central School District, located in the eponymous Goshen village and Goshen town in Orange County, New York, USA. It is located on Lincoln Avenue. It is the oldest school building in the district, and was used as its high school before the construction of Goshen Central High School's present building in 1976. Glenmere Lake

Glenmere Lake is a colonial mill pond or reservoir located in Orange County, New York, USA. It is New York State's largest and virtually last habitat of the Northern Cricket Frog (Acris crepitans), listed as endangered by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The lake is threatened by both private and municipal development. The lake is part of the greater Orange County-owned Glenmere Preserve, one of the largest wild areas in Orange County.
