Trenton, Michigan
Trenton is a small city in Wayne County in the southeast portion of the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 18,853. The city is part of Downriver, a collection of mostly blue-collar communities south of Detroit on the west bank of the Detroit River. Many residents are employed in the city's factories such as the Chrysler Trenton Engine Plant, Solutia, and the Trenton Channel Power Plant.

Gabriel Richard Catholic High School, usually referred to as Gabriel Richard or simply GR, is a Catholic, coed high school in Riverview, Michigan, United States, south of Detroit. Named after Father Gabriel Richard, the school was established in 1965, with the first class graduating in 1969. It currently has approximately 460 students and approximately 30 full-time teachers, giving a student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 15:1.

Wayne County Bridge
The Wayne County Bridge is a swing bridge that crosses the Trenton Channel in the Detroit River. Located in Wayne County, it connects Grosse Ile Township to mainland Trenton. It is one of two bridges connecting the island of Grosse Ile to the mainland — the other being the tolled Grosse Ile Toll Bridge to the north. Locals from Downriver also refer to the bridge as "The Free Bridge".

Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School was the last remaining private, Roman Catholic high school in Wyandotte, Michigan. As the high school to the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Wyandotte, it was closed as the 2nd to last Polish-American Catholic School behind Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Monguagon Township, Michigan
Mongaugon Township, is a former township of Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Quarries here were worked by the French before 1749. American forces defeated British and Indian forces at the Battle of Monguagon during the War of 1812. It was first settled in 1812. On January 15, 1818, a proclamation by Lewis Cass, Governor of Michigan Territory, established Mongaugon, along with townships of Hamtramck, Huron, St. Clair, and Springwells as townships of Wayne County.
Sibley Quarry explosion
On January 30, 1900 the Sibley Quarry just north of Trenton, MI was the site of an accidental explosion of over 2,000 pounds of dynamite. While the explosion was felt over 25 miles away, only one worker was killed, and no other serious injuries were reported.
Yack Arena
Benjamin F. Yack Arena is a 3,800-seat indoor arena located in Wyandotte, Michigan. It is used for ice hockey, ice skating, and is home to high school hockey and the Motor City Metal Jackets of the North American Hockey League. The arena has 25,440 square feet of space for trade shows, conventions, and other special events in addition to hockey. Festivals are also held here.
Lincoln Park High School (Lincoln Park, Michigan)
Lincoln Park High School (LPHS) is a public school in Lincoln Park, Michigan. The school colors are orange and blue, and the teams are called the Railsplitters, a reference to Abraham Lincoln. It is a part of Lincoln Park Public Schools. LPHS has a student-to-teacher ratio of 35:1 and was given a rating of "C" as of 2010 its been given a "B" by the Michigan Department of Education in 2007-2008.
Grosse Ile (Michigan)
Grosse Ile is the largest island in the Detroit River and is the most populated island in the state of Michigan. It is on the American side of the river and is part of Wayne County. The island is approximately 9.6 mi² (24.9 km²) and has a population of 10,894. The island is commonly believed to be conterminous with the overall Grosse Ile Township, but in actuality, the township consists of over a dozen islands— many of which are very small and uninhabited.
Grassy Island
Grassy Island is a small, uninhabited 72-acre (29 ha) American island in the Detroit River. It is located just north of Grosse Ile and west of Fighting Island, about 600 feet (183 m) west of the Canada–United States border. The island is part of the city of Wyandotte, in Wayne County. The island is part of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge. Grassy Island should not be confused with Grass Island, which is an island of Ontario on the exact opposite side of the Detroit River.
Mamajuda Island
Mamajuda Island, sometimes identified as Mama Juda Island, is an American island in the Detroit River. It is located just east of the northern tip of Grosse Ile (Hennepin Point) and about 500 feet (152 m) west of the Canada–United States border. The island is part of Grosse Ile Township in Wayne County, Michigan. It is the smallest of all charted islands in the Detroit River. The former 30-acre (12 ha) island has since been lost due to erosion.
Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar
Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar is a restaurant, sports grill, and bar located in Southgate, Michigan. It was established in 2005. It is best known for setting the world record of the biggest hamburger commercially available.
Naval Air Station Grosse Ile
Naval Air Station Grosse Ile was a Naval air station located on the southern tip of Grosse Ile, Michigan. It operated from 1927 until late 1969, and is now a township airport. During World War II NASGI was one of the largest primary flight training stations for Naval aviators, and RAF pilots. Among the many thousands of Navy pilots who began their careers at NASGI were former President George H. W. Bush, and game show host Bob Barker.
Hector J. Robinson Observatory
The Hector J. Robinson Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Lincoln Park, Michigan. It houses a 14-inch Celestron SCT. It went back into operation in September 2009. First light ceremonies happened in early September.
Calf Island (Michigan)
Calf Island is a natural Michigan island in the Detroit River. The island has a surface elevation of 571 feet (174 m). It is located in the Trenton Channel about 1,000 feet (304 m) west of the southern tip of Grosse Ile and Swan Island, and Hamburg Island is just to the northwest. The 7-acre (2.8 ha) island is administered locally by Grosse Ile Township. Added in 2002, Calf Island was one of the newer additions to the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge.
Council Point Park
Council Point Park is a park in Lincoln Park, Michigan. The park is 27 acres, and boarders the cities of Wyandotte and Ecorse. The point itself is formed by the northern and southern branches of the Ecorse Creek, right before the creek reaches the Detroit River. The land for the park was purchased in the late 1980s. The parks dimensions were courtesy of Wade Trim and Associates.

WDTP is a religious radio station licensed to Huron Charter Township, Michigan, USA. The station is owned by Smile FM. It began operation on May 3, 2011. Programming comes from flagship station WLGH in Lansing and WHYT in Imlay City, Michigan. Its signal is heard as far west as Ann Arbor, Michigan, as far east as Kingsville, Ontario, as far south as Temperance, Michigan, and as far north as Livonia, Michigan.
