Annapolis, Maryland
Annapolis is the capital of the U.S. state of Maryland, as well as the county seat of Anne Arundel County. It had a population of 38,394 at the 2010 census and is situated on the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Severn River, 26 miles south of Baltimore and about 29 miles east of Washington, D.C. Annapolis is part of the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area.
United States Naval Academy
The United States Naval Academy (also known as USNA, Annapolis, or Navy) is a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in Annapolis, Maryland, United States. Established in 1845 under Secretary of the Navy George Bancroft, it is the second-oldest of the United States' five service academies, and educates officers for commissioning primarily into the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps.
St. John's College (Annapolis/Santa Fe)
St. John's College is a private, liberal arts college with two U.S. campuses: one in Annapolis, Maryland, and one in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The College was founded in 1696 as King William's School, a preparatory school. It received a collegiate charter in 1784, making it one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the United States.
Jennings House
Jennings House, located in Annapolis, Maryland, was the residence of the Governors of Maryland from 1777 until 1870, when it was replaced by Government House. The building was sold to the United States Naval Academy in 1869 for $25,000. It was demolished in 1901. Governor George Howard, son of Governor John Eager Howard, was born in Jennings House in 1789.

Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
Navy – Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium near the campus of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It is the home field of the Navy Midshipmen football team, the men's lacrosse team, and the Chesapeake Bayhawks lacrosse team. The stadium opened on September 26, 1959, when Navy defeated William & Mary in football, 29–2. The current seating capacity is 34,000.
Herndon Monument
The Herndon Monument on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy is a tall grey obelisk. It was erected in memory of Captain William Lewis Herndon who courageously decided to go down with his ship, SS Central America, and the men left aboard rather than save himself on September 12, 1857. All women and children and many of the men aboard were saved by a nearby ship during the storm.

Alumni Hall (Navy)

Historic Inns of Annapolis
The Historic Inns of Annapolis consist of three historically rich inns dating back to the end of the American Revolutionary War. The historical buildings, located in Annapolis, Maryland, include the Maryland Inn, Governor Calvert House, and the Robert Johnson House as well as the Treaty of Paris restaurant and the King of France Tavern, which are the on-site dining facilities. William W. Jeffries Memorial Archives
The William W. Jeffries Memorial Archives, found at the United States Naval Academy in the Nimitz Library, was named in dedication of William Worthington Jeffries (1914-1989), former professor, archivist, and museum director at the Academy from 1942 to 1989. Professor William W. Jeffries taught history at the Naval Academy for thirteen years and then served as Senior Professor in the English, History, and Government Department for fifteen years.

WNAV
WNAV is an AM radio station located in Annapolis, Maryland. The full-service talk radio outlet broadcasts at 1430 kilohertz and is owned by Sajak Broadcasting Corporation, named after and part-owned by game show host Pat Sajak. Sajak, who also hosts a daily commentary on the station, also owns WTTR AM (1470 kHz), an oldies station located in Westminster, MD. WNAV also uses an AM-to-FM broadcast translator that broadcasts at 99.9 MHz.

Hubbard Hall (Annapolis, Maryland)
Hubbard Hall, often called "The Boat House," is the historic home of the United States Naval Academy's rowing teams in Annapolis, Maryland. Located on Dorsey Creek, off of the Severn River, it was completed in 1930 for the 40-man heavyweight rowing team. It supports the men's lightweight and heavyweight teams and the women's team with over 200 members. The Academy is in the process of completing a new USD $20 million renovation of the entire building including the rowing tank.

Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium is a baseball venue in Annapolis, Maryland, United States. It is home to the Navy Midshipmen baseball team of the NCAA Division I Patriot League. This field has a capacity of 1,500 spectators. The stadium is named for Max Bishop, Navy head baseball coach from 1937–61. In his tenure, the team's record was 306–143. The field is named for two Naval Academy alumni, Ron (class of 1963) and Bruce (class of 1965), both contributors to Navy athletics.
