Trent, Dorset
Trent is a village in north west Dorset, England, situated in the Yeo valley four miles north west of Sherborne and four miles north east of Yeovil. It was formerly in Somerset. The village has a population of 321. The parish was part of the hundred of Horethorne. Charles II of England stayed at Trent House for several days during his escape to France in 1651.

The Quedam Shopping Centre is a complex of around 45 shops located in Yeovil, Somerset. As well as the usual array of British high street shops, the centre has a multi-storey car park of approximately 650 spaces. On 30th June 2008 a 22 strong team from Tamburino Restaurant (led by owner Domenico Taravella), made 2,291 Pizzas in the Centre to set a new world record length of 476.7 m (1,563 ft 11 in) in the category of world’s longest line of Pizzas.
Yeovil Olympiads Athletics Club
Yeovil Olympiads Athletics Club was the first track and field athletics club in Yeovil, Somerset, England. This club was founded in 1969. It has produced many international athletes since its creation. The first was Eric Berry who came 6th in the 1973 European Juniors in the hammer event. Olympians who started with the club include Max Robertson and Gary Jennings, both 400 metres hurdlers. In 2008, the senior men's section of the club was promoted to the British Athletics League.
Yeovil College
Yeovil College is a tertiary institution and further education college based in Yeovil, Somerset, England. Its main campus is on Mudford Road, Yeovil, but the College also operates the North Dorset Skills Centre in Shaftesbury and the Construction Skills Centre, Lufton, Yeovil, not far from the Yeovil Town Football Club stadium.
Huish (football ground)
Huish was the former ground of Yeovil Town between 1928 and 1990. It was famous for an 8-foot side to side slope, and when Yeovil beat Sunderland in the FA Cup 4th Round in 1948/49. It is now the site of a Tesco Extra hypermarket.
