The A153 is a non-primary A road that is located entirely in Lincolnshire in the east of England. The A153 starts at the T-junction with the A607 at Honington and heads east to Sleaford, then heads north on the A15 and then west on the A17 around the Sleaford bypass. Before the bypasses were built, the road went through Sleaford; this route is now the B1517. The A153 then heads north through the town of Horncastle and terminates at the A16 Louth bypass

Harrowby Hall

Harrowby Hall in Harrowby, Lincolnshire, England, was the family home of the Ryder family and is the former home of Nathaniel Ryder, 1st Baron Harrowby. The hall was purchased from the Rolt family by Sir Dudley Ryder in 1754. From 1935 to 1971 Harrowby Estate contained 59 smallholdings as part of the Land Settlement Association scheme. The house is currently owned by the Braybrook family.

Barkston railway station was a former station serving the village of Barkston, Lincolnshire. It was on the Great Northern Railway main line near to the now realigned (Allington chord) junction with the lines to Sleaford and Lincoln.
