Oberschule am Elsengrund
Oberschule am Elsengrund is a school in Mahlsdorf in Berlin, Germany. The school was founded in 1983 as a school for Polytechnique. After the reunification of Germany it became a comprehensive school. This school moved away in summer 1993 and in August of the same year it became a gymnasium (school) which is still existing. It has about 750 students taught by around 50 teachers. Foreign languages taught are English, French, Latin and Spanish.
Müggelsee
The Müggelsee, also known as the Großer Müggelsee, is a lake in the eastern suburbs of Berlin, the capital city of Germany. It is the largest of the Berlin lakes by area, with an area of 7.4 square kilometres, a length of 4.3 kilometres and a breadth of 2.6 kilometres . The lake is in the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick. The suburbs of Köpenick, Friedrichshagen, Rahnsdorf and a little section of Müggelheim border on the lake. The lake itself is 8 metres deep at its deepest point.
Hönow (Berlin U-Bahn)
Hönow is a Berlin U-Bahn station and the eastern terminus of the U5 line. It borders Hönow, a village of the Hoppegarten municipality in the state of Brandenburg. The station opened with the last extension of the U5 on July 1, 1989. The station was in Hönow, and the area around the station was incorporated into Berlin during German reunification on October 3, 1990.

The Dämeritzsee is a lake located in Brandenburg and Berlin, Germany. At an elevation of 32 metres, its surface area is 93.5 hectares . It is located partly in the municipality of Erkner and part in Rahnsdorf, a Berliner locality in Treptow-Köpenick district. The lake forms part of the course of the River Spree, and is the location of that river's confluence with the short Flakenfließ that flows out of the Flakensee.

Tabor Church (Wilhelmshagen) is one of the three churches of the Evangelical Berlin-Rahnsdorf Congregation, a member of today's Protestant umbrella organisation Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. The church building is located in the quarter Wilhelmshagen, locality Rahnsdorf, borough Treptow-Köpenick of Berlin. The church was named in memory of the Transfiguration of Jesus, which allegedly took place on Mount Tabor הר תבור in today's Israel.

Gosen Canal
The Gosen Canal is a canal in the eastern suburbs of Berlin, the capital city of Germany. It takes its name from the village Gosen, at the southern end of the canal. It is 4 kilometres in length and links the Dämeritzsee and Seddinsee lakes. The Dämeritzsee and Seddinsee are both navigable, with the Seddinsee providing a link to the River Dahme and the Oder-Spree Canal, and the Dämeritzsee providing a link to the Müggelspree reach of the River Spree and to the Flakensee.
Swiss International Airlines Flight 850
Swiss International Air Lines Flight 850 (LX 850) was an international scheduled passenger flight from Basle, Switzerland, to Hamburg, Germany. On 10 July 2002, the flight was unable to land at Fuhlsbüttel Airport due to weather. Attempts were made to divert to other airports at Berlin and Eberswalde before the crew decided to land at Werneuchen. On landing, the aircraft struck an earth bank which ripped off all three undercarriage legs, and came to rest on its belly with an engine on fire.
