It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. Fairview is a community in the northern part of the Town of Poughkeepsie that borders the northern city line of City of Poughkeepsie.

St. James Chapel (Hyde Park, New York)

St. James' Chapel is located on East Market Street, a short distance east of US 9, in Hyde Park, New York, United States. It is part of the Episcopal parish of St. James, whose main church is located 1 mile north of it along Route 9. It appears to be one building today but actually consists of two buildings constructed a quarter-century apart. The Greek Revival-style school building is the church's oldest extant building.
