Albany High School (AHS) in Albany, New York, United States, is a public high school with an enrollment of about 2,300 students for the 2011-12 school year. The school is part of the City School District of Albany. It opened on September 7, 1868 as the Albany Free Academy. Albany High has been located at 700 Washington Avenue since 1974. Albany High School is an International Baccalaureate school with an Advanced Placement program. The principal is Cecily L. Wilson, Ed.D.

Brubacher Hall
Brubacher Hall is located on State Street in Albany, New York. It first opened in 1951 and is a freshman dorm building for the College of Saint Rose though it is located on Alumni Quad of the University at Albany, State University of New York. It was named after Abram Roy Brubacher and was first designed as a dormitory for three hundred women, and it also housed the school's first student union and acted as a lodging facility for overnight and weekend visitors.

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (Albany, New York)
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is located at North Main and Madison avenues in Albany, New York, United States. It is a complex of three buildings, centered around the church itself, a stone structure designed by architect Norman Sturgis in the Late Gothic Revival architectural style and built in 1930. In 2005 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The congregation was established by a downtown church, St. Paul's, from a neighborhood mission near the end of the 19th century.

WAMC is a public radio station licensed to Albany, New York and owned by WAMC, Inc. The station broadcasts at 1400 kHz at 1 kW unlimited, and is an AM repeater of WAMC-FM. For 68 years, the station held the WABY calls, which are now located on an unrelated radio station broadcasting at 1160 kHz from Mechanicville, New York (which was formerly WMVI and took the WABY calls as a tribute to the original WABY).
