Hampton Manor is a census-designated place in the town of East Greenbush in Rensselaer County, New York, United States. The population was 2,417 at the 2010 census. Hampton Manor is a suburb of the cities of Rensselaer and Albany.
Albany–Rensselaer (Amtrak station)
The Albany – Rensselaer Rail Station is a long-distance rail terminal in Rensselaer, New York, located 1.5 miles from downtown Albany across the Hudson River. As of 2007, the station was Amtrak's tenth-busiest station and by 2010 it had become the ninth-busiest. It is served by many of Amtrak's northeastern routes outside of the Northeast Corridor, including the Lake Shore Limited, whose Boston and New York branches meet at the station.

Dunn Memorial Bridge
The Dunn Memorial Bridge, officially known as the Private Parker F. Dunn Memorial Bridge, carries US 9 and US 20 across the Hudson River between Albany, New York and Rensselaer, New York. Completed in 1967 to replace an earlier span bearing the same name, the highway bridge has a steel girder design. It is named for Parker F. Dunn, an Albany native who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his service in World War I and is the southernmost toll-free road crossing of the Hudson.

Tech Valley High School (or simply Tech Valley High or TVHS) is a four-year technical high school located just east of Albany, New York, in the town of East Greenbush, in Rensselaer County. It is unique in that it is not part of a single school district, but has its own board of education, and offers a high school education that emphasizes math, science, and technology using project-based learning to students across the Tech Valley area of New York (hence its name).
Van Rensselaer Island
Van Rensselaer Island was an island in the Hudson River opposite the city of Albany, New York. Today it is within the city of Rensselaer in Rensselaer County, and has been connected to the mainland on the east side and parts of the island's west side has been dredged away. The island has also been known as de Laet's Island, Kalebacker's Island, Boston Island and B&A Island, the last two names in reference to the Boston and Albany Railroad.
East Greenbush Community Library
The East Greenbush Community Library serves a chartered special district, including the town of East Greenbush, New York and portions of the town of Schodack, New York under contract, bringing the total number of patrons to nearly 30,000. The library is also a member of the Upper Hudson Library System, a resource-sharing consortium consisting of the 29 public libraries in Albany and Rensselaer Counties.
