FedExField
FedExField (originally Jack Kent Cooke Stadium) is a football stadium located in an unincorporated area near the Capital Beltway in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, near the site of the old Capital Centre. FedExField is the home of the Washington Redskins football team. With seating for 85,000, FedExField is again the largest venue in the NFL in terms of regular capacity. Up until 2010, FedExField held 91,704 patrons and was the largest venue in the league.
Morgan Boulevard (WMATA station)
Morgan Boulevard is an island platformed Washington Metro station in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The station was opened on December 18, 2004, and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Providing service for the Blue Line, the station is located on Garrett Morgan Boulevard, less than a mile from FedEx Field, the home of the Washington Redskins.
Capital Centre
The Capital Centre was an indoor arena located in Landover, Maryland, unincorporated Prince George's County, Maryland; a suburb of Washington, D.C. Completed in 1973, the arena sat 18,756 for basketball and 18,130 for hockey. In 1993, the air carrier USAir purchased the naming rights for the building and the arena became known as USAir Arena. After the airline rebranded itself in 1996, the name changed to US Airways Arena.
Landover Mall
Landover Mall was a large shopping mall located in Landover, Maryland, directly across from FedEx Field, off MD 202 and Interstates 95 and 495. The mall was owned by Lerner Enterprises, and opened in 1972. Like its neighbor Capital Plaza Mall, it was a major attraction through its opening years in Prince George's County. The mall featured many anchors and smaller tenants; however, upon the decline and closing of its major anchors, the mall itself entered a state of decline.
Raljon, Maryland
Raljon, Maryland is a place name for the area around FedEx Field (originally called Jack Kent Cooke Stadium), near Landover, Maryland, where the Washington Redskins play. Former Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke derived the name from the names of his sons, Ralph and John. Introduced in 1997 to almost universal derision, the name enjoyed almost no currency beyond the Redskins and the United States Postal Service, which formally recognized the name.
The Boulevard at the Capital Centre
The Boulevard at the Capital Centre is an open-air shopping center in Landover, Maryland, located on the site of the former Capital Centre, which opened in December 1973 and was demolished in December 2002. The three primary sports tenants had moved to the MCI Center in Washington, D.C. , five years earlier, in December 1997. Opened in 2003, the Boulevard at the Capital Centre is next to the Largo Town Center Washington Metro station (the eastern terminus of the Blue Line).

National Harmony Memorial Park
National Harmony Memorial Park is a private, secular cemetery located at 7101 Sheriff Road in Landover, Maryland, in the United States. Although racially integrated, most of the individuals interred there are African American. In 1960, the 37,000 graves of Columbian Harmony Cemetery in Washington, D.C. , were transferred to National Harmony Memorial Park's Columbian Harmony section. In 1966, about 2,000 graves from Payne's Cemetery in D.C.
