Moylgrove, also spelled Moylegrove, is a village and parish in north Pembrokeshire, Wales, about 7 kilometres from Cardigan.
St Dogmells Rural District
St Dogmells was a rural district in the administrative county of Pembrokeshire, Wales from 1894 to 1934. The district was created by the Local Government Act 1894 from the part of Cardigan Rural Sanitary District in Pembrokeshire, and consisted of seventeen civil parishes (see below). It continued to be administered from Cardigan. It was abolished in 1934, when a county review order amalgamated it with Llanfyrnach RD to form Cemaes RD. List of Parishes:
Bayvil
Bayvil is a hamlet and parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is situated in the north of the county, 5 km east of Newport. It is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The parish includes most of the village of Felindre Farchog. Together with the parishes of Monington, Moylgrove and most of Nevern, it constitutes the community of Nevern. The placename appears to derive from Norman-French Beauvil = "pleasant settlement".
St Andrew's Church, Bayvil
St Andrew's Church, Bayvil, is a redundant church standing in an isolated position in the hamlet of Bayvil, some 2 kilometres to the northeast of Nevern, Pembrokeshire, Wales. It has been designated by Cadw as a Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Friends of Friendless Churches. It is listed Grade II* because it is "a scarce rural example of an unaltered Anglican church of its date".
Ceibwr Bay
Ceibwr Bay is a bay on the southside of Cardigan Bay, adjoining the Irish Sea, in Wales. The high landscape at Ceibwr Bay is made up of spectacular cliff folds, part of the Nant Ceibwr valley leading through the village of Moylegrove, originally formed by glacial erosion. The river runs out into the Irish Sea through Ceibwr Bay. On the southside of the bay is the Witches' Cauldron, a collapsed cave within the formation.
