Hartismere Hundred
Hartismere was a hundred of Suffolk, that later gave its name to a poor law union, a rural sanitary district, and the Hartismere Rural District. Listed as Hertesmere in the Domesday Book, the name of the hundred is derived from "Hart's mere" where Hart is a personal name. Hartismere also gives its name to the 11-19 Co-educational Foundation School based in Eye. It serves pupils aged 11–16 years whilst the associated sixth form college instructs 16-19 year students.
Westhorpe Hall
Westhorpe Hall was a manor house in Westhorpe, Suffolk, England. It was the residence of Mary Tudor, Queen of France and her second husband, Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk. There they raised their children, Frances, Eleanor and Henry Brandon, 1st Earl of Lincoln. They also brought up their wards there, Margaret Douglas, daughter of Margaret Tudor, and Katherine Willoughby. Mary Tudor died there, and it was pulled down in 1785.

Finningham railway station was a station physically located in the neighbouring parish of Bacton, Suffolk on the Great Eastern Main Line between London and Norwich.
