Seaton Delaval Hall
Seaton Delaval Hall is a Grade I listed country house in Northumberland, England. It is near the coast just north of Newcastle upon Tyne. Located between Seaton Sluice and Seaton Delaval, it was designed by Sir John Vanbrugh in 1718 for Admiral George Delaval and is now owned by the National Trust. Since completion of the house in 1728, it has had an unfortunate history.
St. Mary's Lighthouse
St. Mary's Lighthouse is on the tiny St. Mary's Island, just north of Whitley Bay on the coast of North East England. The small rocky tidal island is linked to the mainland by a short concrete causeway which is submerged at periods of high tide. While it no longer functions as a working lighthouse, it is easily accessible (when the tide is out) and is open to visitors and has a small museum, a visitor's centre, and a cafe.
West Monkseaton Metro station
West Monkseaton Metro station is a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro in Monkseaton, North Tyneside, England, which was originally opened by the LNER in 1933. It reopened as part of the first section of the Metro in 1980. The first section of the North Tyne Loop to close for Metro conversion was Manors - West Monkseaton, and therefore West Monkseaton was a terminus for trains from Newcastle via the Coast from 23 January 1978 until 10 September 1979.
Whitley Bay Ice Rink
The Whitley Bay Ice Rink is an ice rink in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear, England and is the home of the Whitley Warriors ice hockey team. An additional team to played out of the ice rink, the Newcastle Vipers. It is one of two permanent public ice rinks in the north east of England. A ten-pin bowling centre in the area upstairs was closed in 2007. It was also the region's premier concert venue, until the Newcastle Arena (now Metro Radio Arena) opened in 1995.
St Mary's Island, Tyne and Wear
St. Mary's Island is a small island made of sandstone near the seaside resort of Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear, UK. St. Mary's Island was originally called Bates Island, Hartley Bates or Bates Hill as it was originally owned by the Bates family who were prominent locally. It is sometimes known as Bait Island, probably due to a misunderstanding of the meaning of the name. The island is opposite Curry's Point on the mainland and is connected to the coast at low tide by a rocky causeway.

St Paul's Church is the parish church of Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, United Kingdom. The church was founded in 1864. The church's official title is St Paul's Church, Cullercoats but as is in the town of Whitley Bay it is more commonly known as the former.
Monkseaton Metro station
Monkseaton Metro station is a station on the Yellow line of the Tyne and Wear Metro network, in Monkseaton, North Tyneside, England. The station opened in 1915 to replace the former Whitley Junction station of 1860 which was situated in what is now Souter Park. Much of the 1915 station was retained when the line was converted to Metro operation, although the northbound (In) platform and buildings were completely replaced.
