Canons Ashby House

Canons Ashby House is an Elizabethan manor house located in Canons Ashby, Daventry, Northamptonshire, England. It has been owned by the National Trust since 1981, although "The Tower" is in the care of the Landmark Trust and available for holiday lets. It has been the home of the Dryden family since its construction in the 16th century. The manor house was built in approximately 1550 with additions in the 1590s, in the 1630s and 1710; it has remained essentially unchanged since the 1710s.

Canons Ashby Priory

Canons Ashby Priory was an Augustinian monastic establishment in Northamptonshire, England. The Priory was founded by Stephen La Leye on a site to the south of the present church between 1147 and 1151, during the reign of Henry IIhttp://www. british-history. ac. uk/report. asp?compid=42392. In 1253 the Augustinians were granted a licence to build the Norwell, which still exists to the north of the present church, to supply water to the priory.

Weston Hall

Weston Hall is the Sitwell family house in Northamptonshire. The house is situated in the village of Weston in the south of the county. It was the home of Sir Sacheverell Sitwell and his Canadian wife, Georgia Doble, from 1927 until his death in 1988. It was here that he wrote many of his 130 books on travel, art, music and poetry. Helmdon railway station served the village of Helmdon in Northamptonshire on the former Great Central main line (GCR). It was one of two stations for the rural area, the other being the Helmdon Village railway station on the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway.

Helmdon Village railway station on the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway (SMJ), served the Northamptonshire village of Helmdon between 1872 and 1951. It was one of two stations serving the lightly populated rural area, the other being Helmdon railway station on the Great Central Railway and it's closure marked the beginning of the years of decline for the SMJ line.

Morton Pinkney (also known as Morton Pinkney for Sulgrave) was a railway station on the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway (SMJ) which served the Northamptonshire village of Moreton Pinkney between 1873 and 1952. Plumpton, Northamptonshire

Plumpton is a place in Northamptonshire, England. The Ordnance Survey map shows it as having a church and a manor house. It is within the parish of "St Mary & St Peter Lois Weedon with Weston and Plumpton". The 1870-72 Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales describes Plumpton as having a population of 42 in 12 houses, and describes the church as "good" and having a "pinnacled tower". The church is now cared for by a charity, the St. John the Baptist, Plumpton, Heritage Trust.
