Aslackby Preceptory

The site of Aslackby Preceptory, Lincolnshire is now occupied by the village of Aslackby. The structure of one of the houses includes parts of a Templar building. Temple Farm is built on the site of, and using material from, the ruins of the round church. The Preceptory dates to the reign of Henry II. In 1164 the church of Aslackby with its chapel was presented to the Templars by Hubert de Rye.

RAF Folkingham

Royal Air Force Station Folkingham or more simply RAF Folkingham is a former Royal Air Force station located south west of Folkingham, Lincolnshire and about 29 miles due south of county town Lincoln and 112 miles north of London, England. Opened in 1940, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as a troop carrier airfield for airborne units and as a subsidiary training depot of the newly formed Royal Air Force Regiment.

St. Andrew's Church, Folkingham

The Church of St Andrew in Folkingham, Lincolnshire, England, is Grade I–listed Anglican church. Originating in the late 12th century, it was largely completed by the late 15th, with restorations carried out in 1825, 1858 and 1860. It has early Decorated style arcades and a mainly Early English chancel, with a Norman pier where there was an opening into a chantry chapel. On the south side of the church are the remains of stocks and a whipping-post.

St Peter's Church, Threekingham

St Peter's Church is a church in Threekingham, Lincolnshire. It is dedicated to St. Peter ad Vincula (St Peter in chains). It became a Grade I listed building on 1 February 1967. A Saxon church, mentioned in the Domesday Book was located here but the Normans began rebuilding the church in 1170. Part of the church, notably the door and porch are dated to 1310. A sundial, on the turret to the left of the porch says '1688 Gifte of Edmond Hutchinson, Gentleman'.
