Woodchester Roman Villa was situated at Woodchester near Stroud in the English county of Gloucestershire. It is one of many Roman villas discovered in Gloucestershire and was occupied between the early 2nd and late 4th centuries AD. The Lawn Ground is located in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, England, and was, from 1890 to 2006, home to the English football club, Forest Green Rovers who currently play in the Conference National. The Lawn Ground also hosted local cup finals as well as being home to Forest Green's Ladies and youth sides. The ground was located at the top of a steep hill in the hamlet of Forest Green and had a total capacity of 5,141 people.

Ham Mill Halt railway station
Ham Mill Halt was opened on 12 October 1903 on what is now the Golden Valley Line between Kemble and Stroud. This line was opened in 1845 as the Cheltenham and Great Western Union Railway from Swindon to Gloucester and this was one of many small stations and halts built on this line for the local passenger service. This halt opened with the introduction of the GWR steam railmotor services between Stonehouse and Chalford.
Horsley Priory
Horsley Priory was a medieval monastic house in Gloucestershire, England. Goda owned an estate at Horsley, in 1066. It was granted to Troarn Abbey by Roger de Montgomery, before 1086. The original grant was said to provide for a prior, a monk, and a parish chaplain to reside at Horsley. (fn. 72) From those provisions emerged the cell called Horsley Priory. Troarn Abbey exchanged the priory with Bruton Priory for lands in Normandy in 1260. The prior of Horsley ceased to exist before 1380.
