Clayton, South Yorkshire
Clayton is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster, on the border with West Yorkshire. It lies to the north of Thurnscoe, and is located at approximately 53° 33' 40" North, 1° 19' West, at an elevation of around 80 metres above sea level. Together with Frickley, it makes up the civil parish of Clayton with Frickley, which has a population of 208.

Middlecliffe
Middlecliffe is a small South Yorkshire hamlet straddling the road between Darfield and Great Houghton, close to Barnsley, where Middlecliff Lane joins the B6273 road. It is mostly a collection of current and former council houses, served by a Post Office, small corner shop and a Working Mens club. Often confused with Little Houghton, the civil parish of which it forms a part, the village is served by two bus stops.
Wath Main Colliery
Wath Main Colliery was a coal mine situated in the Dearne Valley, close by the township of Wath-upon-Dearne, South Yorkshire, England. The colliery was operated by the Wath Main Coal Company Limited. Sinking of the first of its two shafts began in 1873, the workings reaching the highly-prized Barnsley seam three years later. To gain access to lower reserves the shafts were deepened, first in 1912 to reach the Parkgate seam and then, in 1923, to the Silkstone seam.

St Michael and All Angels Church is the parish church of Great Houghton in South Yorkshire. The church is dedicated to St Michael, and was originally a private chapel and was built by Sir Edward Rodes, the High Sheriff of Yorkshire, who was a conspicuous Parliamentarian. It was built about 1650 and used for worship by his family and the tenants of his land. Sir Edward was a great friend of Oliver Cromwell, when he was the Lord Protector of England.

Hickleton Hall is a Grade II* listed Georgian country house in Hickleton, South Yorkshire, England, lying some 6 miles (10 km) west of Doncaster. For over 50 years (until 2012) it has been a Sue Ryder Care home but is now being converted to luxury apartments. It was constructed in 1745-8 of limestone ashlar with graduated slate roofs. The main range has a 7-bay frontage with flanking pavilions.
