The Basketweave
The Basketweave is the name of a stretch of Highway 401 in Ontario, Canada, immediately east of the Jane Street underpass in Toronto; the name derives from the interesting criss-crossing design of the roads, which evokes imagery of a straw basketweave. For the westbound Highway 401 driver, the functional aspect of the Basketweave is to allow drivers in the express lanes to change into the collector lanes, from which they can subsequently enter Highway 400.

The Elms is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is bordered by the Humber River to the east, Islington Avenue to the west, Thistletown to the north, and Highway 401 to the south. Pine Point Park
Pine Point Park is a park in Toronto, Ontario, located on the east end junction of Allenby Avenue and Hadrian Drive, near the intersection of Highway 401 and Islington Avenue. The park itself is bordered by Albion Road to the west, Highway 401 to the south, and Humber River to the east. Pine Point Park was home to the Rexdale Streethawks ball hockey team. The team practiced regularly in the park in an old lacrosse practice facility known locally as "The Box".

Weston Golf and Country Club
Weston Golf and Country Club is located in Toronto, Ontario. Designed by Willie Park, Jr. , it was home to Arnold Palmer's first PGA Tour victory in the 1955 Canadian Open. In 2011, Weston's course was ranked #40 in Canada by ScoreGolf. Weston G&CC hosts an annual elite amateur men's Willie Park Jr. Memorial tournament, held in late summertime. It was started in 1925 to memorialize Park's passing.
