Bretton Hall, West Yorkshire
Bretton Hall is a country house in West Bretton near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England. It housed Bretton Hall College from 1949 until 2001 and was a campus of the University of Leeds (2001–2007). It is a Grade II* listed building.
High Hoyland
High Hoyland is a village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England, on the border with West Yorkshire. It lies to the west of Kexbrough, and is located at approximately {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:53|35|10|N|1|35|30|W| | |name= }}, at an elevation of around 200 metres above sea level. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park in the parkland of Bretton Hall in West Bretton, Wakefield, in West Yorkshire, England is an open-air gallery showing work by UK and international artists, including Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. It was the UK's first sculpture park based on the temporary open air exhibitions organised in London parks from the 1940s to 1970s by the Arts Council and London County Council (and later Greater London Council).

Bretton Hall College was a teacher training college in West Bretton in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. It opened in 1949 at Bretton Hall. The college merged with the University of Leeds in 2001 but closed in 2007.
Netherton, Wakefield
Netherton is a small village in the City of Wakefield metropolitan borough of West Yorkshire, England. It lies about 4 miles south-west of Wakefield, 3 miles south of Ossett, 1 mile south of Horbury. The village was originally named "Nether Shitlington", but this was changed sometime after 1855. The village was once home to two collieries - Denby Grange and Bullcliffe Wood. The latter was one of the leading pits behind the UK Miners' Strike (1984-1985).
Haigh, West Yorkshire
Haigh is a small village in South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire, England. Historically within the West Riding of Yorkshire, it lies half in the Wakefield district and half in the Barnsley district. It grew up as a pit village and had its own colliery until 1968. Thereafter, Woolley Colliery became the main source of employment until its closure in 1987. Haigh suffered from significant decline for several years afterwards. It is now a commuter village for the large towns and cities of Yorkshire.

Cannon Hall Farm
Cannon Hall Farm is a working farm and tourist attraction close to the village of Cawthorne, near Barnsley in the English county of South Yorkshire. Open to visitors since 1989, it is owned and run by the Nicholson family. The farm was voted Best Tourist Experience at the Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards 2011. Cannon Hall Farm was once the home farm for Cannon Hall, built by the Spencer-Stanhope family and now a museum.
