Lamport Hall

Lamport Hall in Lamport, Northamptonshire is a fine example of a Grade I Listed House. It was developed from a Tudor Manor but is now notable for its classical frontage. The Hall contains an outstanding collection of books paintings and furniture. The building includes The High Room with a magnificent ceiling by William Smith. It also has a library with 16th Century volumes and an early 19th Century Cabinet Room with Neopolitan cabinets which depict mythological paintings on glass.

Kelmarsh Tunnel

The Kelmarsh Tunnels are disused railway tunnels in Northamptonshire, England. The Northampton to Market Harborough line opened in 1859 and had tunnels at Kelmarsh and nearby Oxendon. The original tunnel was single-track, and when the line was doubled a second single-track tunnel was built. Both tunnels are 322 yards long, and due to the small bore, were known as "the rat-holes" by train drivers.

Oxendon Tunnel

The Oxendon Tunnels are disused railway tunnels in Northamptonshire, England. The Northampton to Market Harborough line opened in 1859 and had tunnels at Oxendon and nearby at Kelmarsh. The original tunnel was single-track, and when the line was doubled a second single-track tunnel was built. The "up" line tunnel is 453 yards long while the "down" line is 462 yards . Due to the small bore, the tunnels were known as "the rat-holes" by train drivers.

Kelmarsh Hall

Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire, England is an elegant, 18th century country house about 5 miles south of Market Harborough and 11 miles miles north of Northampton. The present Palladian hall was built in 1732 for William Hanbury, a famous antiquarian, by Francis Smith of Warwick, to a James Gibbs design; the hall is still today surrounded by its working estate, and comprises both parkland and gardens.

Lamport railway station

Lamport railway station on the Northampton and Market Harborough railway opened on 16 February 1859 serving the villages of Lamport, Maidwell, Hanging Houghton as well as Lamport Hall, Northamptonshire, England. It ran half a mile (ca.800 m) west of the village towards Maidwell just north of the road which was crossed by a level crossing. It was part of the London and North Western Railway. The next station north, Kelmarsh is located just north of Kelmarsh Tunnel.

It was about 1 mile south-east of the Oxendon and about 3 miles walking distance north-east of Clipston. It was south of Oxendon tunnel. It was part of the London and North Western Railway. The station lost its passenger service on 4 January 1960.

Church of All Saints, Lamport

The Church of All Saints is a Grade I listed building located in Lamport, Northamptonshire, England. It became a listed building on 2 November 1954. The church is a small, low and old building. Constructed of stone in the Gothic and Italian architecture styles, it consists of a chancel, a cloistered nave, aisles, and a south porch. An embattled western tower contains four bells and a clock. In the church, there are several monuments. The register dates from the year 1628.
