Brimham Rocks

The Brimham Rocks are balancing rock formations located on Brimham Moor in North Yorkshire, England. The rocks stand at a height of nearly 30 metres in an area owned by the National Trust which is part of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property is open all year around; typically from 8 a.m. until dusk. Entry is free, however car parking is charged for those who are not members of The National Trust.

Nidderdale

Nidderdale is one of the Yorkshire Dales (although outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park) in North Yorkshire, England. It is the upper valley of the River Nidd, which flows south underground and then along the dale, forming several reservoirs including the Gouthwaite Reservoir, before turning east and eventually joining the River Ouse. The only town in the dale is Pateley Bridge.

The Nidderdale Museum is housed in a former workhouse in the market town of Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, England. Pateley Playhouse

The Pateley Playhouse is a small amateur-run theatre in the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire, England. The building was initially a Primitive Methodist Chapel but was abandoned in the late 1930s. It was bought by the Pateley Bridge Dramatic Society, a local group active since 1937, who transformed into a theatre seating 73 people. It saw its first production, a version of When We Are Married by J.B. Priestley, in June 1968.

Hartwith cum Winsley is a civil parish in Harrogate district, North Yorkshire, England. Historically it was a township in the ancient parish of Kirkby Malzeard, a detached part of that parish. The main settlement in the parish is the village of Summerbridge. The parish also includes the hamlets of Low Laithe, New York, Brimham and Hartwith. Winsley consists of some scattered houses and farms in the east of the parish. The parish occupies the north side of lower Nidderdale.
