Eye, Herefordshire
Eye is a village in the county of Herefordshire, England, in the River Lugg catchment, north of Leominster and south of Ludlow. Berrington Hall is nearby; a Henry Holland house with Capability Brown landscape, built for Thomas Harley. The village of Eye neighbours Luston, another small north Herefordshire village. Eye has a historic small church with a square tower and some wonderful effigies; beside it is Eye Manor, noted for its fine decorated plaster ceilings.

Priory Church, Leominster
The Priory Church, Leominster, Herefordshire, England is an Anglican parish church, dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The building was constructed for a Benedictine Priory in about the 13th century, although there had been an Anglo-Saxon monastery in Leominster, possibly on the same site. In 1539 the east end of the church was destroyed along with most of the monastic buildings, but the main body of the church was preserved.
Leominster Abbey
Leominster abbey was an Anglo-Saxon monastery established at Leominster in the county of Hereford, England. The name of the town refers to its minster, a settlement of clergy living a communal life. The monastery, perhaps founded in the seventh century, was originally a male house. After being destroyed by Danes, it was rebuilt as a Benedictine abbey for nuns. In 1046 the abbess, Eadgifu, was abducted by Sweyn Godwinson. Eadgifu is only abbess known by name.

Leominster nunnery was an Anglo-Saxon nunnery at Leominster, Herefordshire, England. Founded in the ninth century, the nunnery is known to have been active in the eleventh century. The exact location of the nunnery is not known, but it may have been the site later occupied by Leominster Priory, a twelfth century foundation.

Luston is a village and civil parish in north Herefordshire. It is 3km north of Leominster on the B 4361. The parish contains the main village and the hamlet of The Broad which is south of the main village. The parish has no church but there is a Methodist Chapel in the village. The village has a primary school and a pub called The Balance. The parish hall, which is shared with the neighbouring village of Eye, is called Cawley Hall after the family who own Berrington Hall.
