Netley Abbey
Netley Abbey is a ruined late medieval monastery in the village of Netley near Southampton in Hampshire, England. The abbey was founded in 1239 as a house for Roman Catholic monks of the austere Cistercian order. Despite being a royal abbey, Netley was never rich, produced no influential scholars nor churchmen, and its nearly 300-year history was quiet. The monks were best known to their neighbours for the generous hospitality they offered to travellers on land and sea.

Brambridge
Brambridge is a village in the parish of Colden Common in the Winchester District in Hampshire, England, north east of Eastleigh and close to the River Itchen. It lies in the south of Twyford civil parish. The hamlet of Brambridge was granted by Bishop Richard Foxe to the newly-founded Corpus Christi College, Oxford, in the sixteenth century. In 1609-10, Brambridge, with other lands, belonging to three recusants, Ursula Uvedale, Richard Bruning and Thomas Welles was granted to John Pierson.
Highbridge, Hampshire
Highbridge is a small community on the edge of Colden Common, Allbrook, Hampshire, England. Once major gravel works, and clay digging to make bricks, were carried out here. Kiln Lane is an example of the names left behind after extraction ceased. Highbridge is on the River Itchen and the Itchen Canal is nearby. The gravel works left a very large lake which nowadays is used for fishing.

Green Jackets Ground
The Green Jackets Ground is a cricket ground in St Cross, Winchester, Hampshire used by St Cross Symondians Cricket Club. The ground was first used in 1859, when Winchester Garrison played I Zingari. The ground is currently owned by the trustees of the nearby ancient Hospital of St Cross. The ground was first leased to the Rifle Brigade and since 1885 it has been leased to the Green Jackets Club. Only one first-class match was played at the ground, which saw Hampshire play Sussex in 1875.
