Chilton Foliat Meadows is a 54.6 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in the civil parish of Chilton Foliat in the English county of Wiltshire. It was notified in 1971 and is split across Berkshire and Wiltshire.
Kennet and Lambourn Floodplain
The Kennet and Lambourn Floodplain is a 22.9 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Berkshire and Wiltshire, notified in 1996. It comprises seven separate small areas, four in the Kennet Valley and three in the Lambourn Valley. The areas included in the site support particularly large populations of Desmoulin's whorl snail.

It recreated a kitchen garden of the Victorian era at Chilton Foliat in Wiltshire, although at the time the series was made Chilton Foliat was in the county of Berkshire. The presenter was the horticultural lecturer, Peter Thoday, the master gardener was Harry Dodson and the director was Keith Sheather.

Leverton is a small hamlet in West Berkshire, England, close to the border with Wiltshire around 2 mi north-west of Hungerford. Leverton was the Berkshire part of the civil parish of Chilton Foliat which was half in Wiltshire and half in Berkshire, until transferred to Hungerford parish in the 1890s.
