Buen Retiro park
The Buen Retiro Park (Jardines del Buen Retiro or Parque del Buen Retiro, literally "Gardens" or "Park of the Pleasant Retreat," or simply El Retiro) is the one of the largest parks of the city of Madrid, Spain. The park belonged to the Spanish Monarchy until the late 19th century, when it became a public park.

The Cementerio de Nuestra Señora de La Almudena (English: Our Lady of Almudena Cemetery) is a cemetery in Madrid, Spain. It is the largest in Madrid and one of the largest in Western Europe. The number of persons buried is estimated to be about five million, larger than the population of Madrid itself, since it was the main cemetery for the entire city from 1884 to 1973, and from the 1920s was almost the only one for the majority of the population of Madrid.
Las Ventas
The Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas is a famous bullring in Madrid (Spain). Situated in the Guindalera quarter of the district of Salamanca, it was inaugurated on June 17, 1931. It has a seating capacity of 25,000 and is regarded as the home of bullfighting in Spain. This bullring was designed by the architect José Espeliú in the Neo-Mudéjar (Moorish) style with ceramic incrustations. The seats are situated in ten "tendidos".
Torrespaña
Torrespaña (literally "Spain Tower") is a 231 m steel-and-concrete television tower located in Madrid, Spain. National terrestrial television channels RTVE, Telecinco and Antena 3, as well as the autonomic channel Telemadrid, along with a few radio stations, broadcast from the tower. The tower was built in 1982, commemorating the FIFA World Cup celebrated in Spain that year.

Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid is an indoor sporting arena located in the City of Madrid, Spain. Its capacity is 15,000 people for basketball matches, 14,000 for handball matches and 18,000 for concerts (with standing public ramp). The former building, which was built in 1960, was destroyed by a fire in 2001. Architects Enrique Hermoso and Paloma Huidobro projected a High-Tech style new arena that was built at the same place between 2002 and 2005.

Buen Retiro Palace
Buen Retiro Palace in Madrid was a large palace complex designed by the architect Alonso Carbonell (c. 1590–1660) and built on the orders of Philip IV of Spain as a secondary residence and place of recreation (hence its name). It was built in what was then the eastern limits of the city of Madrid. Today what little remains of its buildings and gardens forms the Retiro Park.

Basilica of Nuestra Señora de Atocha
The Royal Basilica of Our Lady of Atocha or Real Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Atocha is a large church in central Madrid on the avenue of the Ciudad de Barcelona, #3. It is one of the three basilica churches in Madrid, alongside the Our Father Jesús de Medinaceli and San Francisco el Grande. The buildings on the site have a long history. The original name refers to a lost icon from a chapel which was found among some high grasses, (called Tocha) during the time of the Reconquista.
Escuelas Aguirre
The Escuelas Aguirre (Aguirre School) is a notable Neo-Mudéjar style building, located at Calle de Alcalá, 62, Madrid, Spain. It is named after Lucas Aguirre, a Spanish philanthropist who left funds for the construction of schools. Since 2006 it has housed the Casa Árabe e Instituto Internacional de Estudios Árabes y del Mundo Musulmán. This Neo-Mudéjar style building was designed by Emilio Rodríguez Ayuso and built from 1881-1886.
Palacio de Cristal
The Palacio de Cristal ("Crystal Palace") is a glass and metal structure located in Madrid's Buen Retiro Park. It was built in 1887 to exhibit flora and fauna from the Philippines. The architect was Ricardo Velázquez Bosco. The Palacio de Cristal, in the shape of a Greek cross, is made almost entirely of glass set in an iron framework on a brick base, which is decorated with ceramics. Its cupola makes the structure over 22 metres high.

Valdebernardo (Madrid Metro)

The station opened its doors on 1 December 1998. The project leaders rejected the original name "Lucio de Mingo" (a famous military and war hero for some parts of the population) because of possible conflict.
Monument to Alfonso XII
The Monument to King Alfonso XII is located in Buen Retiro Park (El Retiro), Madrid, Spain. The monument is situated on the east edge of an artificial lake near the center of the park. In 1902, a national contest was held to design a monument for King Alfonso XII at the initiative of the Queen Mother Maria Christina of Austria.
