Vallecas
Vallecas is a neighborhood of Madrid composed of two districts: Puente de Vallecas (population 240,917) and Villa de Vallecas (population 65,162). Vallecas was an independent village until 1950 when it became part of Madrid.
Cementerio de la Almudena
The Cementerio de Nuestra Señora de La Almudena (English: Our Lady of Almudena Cemetery) is a cemetery in Madrid, Spain. It is the largest in Madrid and one of the largest in Western Europe. The number of persons buried is estimated to be about five million, larger than the population of Madrid itself, since it was the main cemetery for the entire city from 1884 to 1973, and from the 1920s was almost the only one for the majority of the population of Madrid.
Torrespaña
Torrespaña (literally "Spain Tower") is a 231 m steel-and-concrete television tower located in Madrid, Spain. National terrestrial television channels RTVE, Telecinco and Antena 3, as well as the autonomic channel Telemadrid, along with a few radio stations, broadcast from the tower. The tower was built in 1982, commemorating the FIFA World Cup celebrated in Spain that year.
Cerro de los Ángeles
The Cerro de los Ángeles (Hill of the Angels) is a famous hill located in Getafe, Spain, about 10 km south of Madrid. The site is famous for being considered the geographic centre of the Iberian Peninsula. On top of the hill there is a 14th century monastery named Our Lady of the Angels (Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles), as well as the Monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Monumento al Sagrado Corazón), built in 1919 to dedicate the country and inaugurated by king Alfonso XIII.

La Marañosa
La Marañosa is a locality of Madrid, Spain. Its hills (700 metres high) overlook both banks of the Jarama river. The locality is known for being home of The "Fabrica Nacional de Productos Quimicos" (National factory of chemical products) which supplied the Spanish Army of Africa with chemical warfare agents during the Rif rebellion between 1923 and 1927. On February 5, 1937 and during the Spanish Civil War, the locality was the scene of the Battle of Jarama.

Spanish National Observatory
The Spanish National Observatory is an astronomical observatory with several facilities in the Madrid area. The historic building in the Parque del Buen Retiro was built in 1790 as the Royal Observatory. Buen Retiro Palace
Buen Retiro Palace in Madrid was a large palace complex designed by the architect Alonso Carbonell (c. 1590–1660) and built on the orders of Philip IV of Spain as a secondary residence and place of recreation (hence its name). It was built in what was then the eastern limits of the city of Madrid. Today what little remains of its buildings and gardens forms the Retiro Park.
Duratón, Segovia

La Caja Mágica ("The Magic Box'"), also known as the Manzanares Park Tennis Center, is a sports structure located at the Park Manzanares, used for the Madrid Masters tournament in Madrid, Spain. There are three courts under the one structure, and a series of retractable roofs. The main stadium has a seating capacity of 12,442. There are two smaller courts in the structure, with Court 1 able to hold 3,500 people, and Court 2 to hold 2,500 people.

The Royal Basilica of Our Lady of Atocha or Real Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Atocha is a large church in central Madrid on the avenue of the Ciudad de Barcelona, #3. It is one of the three basilica churches in Madrid, alongside the Our Father Jesús de Medinaceli and San Francisco el Grande. The buildings on the site have a long history. The original name refers to a lost icon from a chapel which was found among some high grasses, (called Tocha) during the time of the Reconquista.
