Fox Chase, Philadelphia
Fox Chase is a neighborhood in the Northeast Philadelphia section of the United States city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The origin of the name comes from The "Fox Chase Inn" which opened in 1705. It throve on the Turnpike trade, but it also catered to the affluent who wanted to hunt fox, thus the name "Fox Chase".
Fox Chase (SEPTA station)
Fox Chase is the current terminus of SEPTA's Fox Chase Line. It is located just west of the intersection of Rhawn Street and Rockwell Avenue in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fox Chase Station, which has the largest number of parking spaces of any on the line (342), is the closest regional rail stop to the neighborhoods of Fox Chase, Bustleton, and Pine Valley, and Rockledge and Huntingdon Valley in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Burholme Park
Burholme Park is a public park in the Fox Chase neighborhood of Philadelphia. The park and the Robert W. Ryerss Museum and Library was a gift of the last descendant of the Ryerss family, a prominent Philadelphia family. Robert W. Ryerss died on Feb. 18, 1895 at the age of 65 and left his estate to Mary Reed, his wife of eight months and the head housekeeper of the Ryerss Mansion for 27 years.

Lorimer Park is a 230-acre public park in Abington Township, Pennsylvania. The park, a bequest from the late George Horace Lorimer (long-time editor-in-chief of The Saturday Evening Post), is connected to Pennypack Park in Philadelphia County, and the Pennypack Creek runs through both parks. The park borders Fox Chase Farm, the only remaining active farm in Philadelphia County.

The 174-home neighborhood got its start when a builder from California, Gustav Weber filed plans to build a small subdivision in 1928. Ryers, Philadelphia
Ryers is a neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia. Ryers is bounded by Cottman Avenue (Rt. 73) on the southwest, Fillmore Street on the northwest. Both of these highways separate Philadelphia from Cheltenham and Rockledge, Montgomery County. The Fox Chase Line separates Ryers from Burholme and Fox Chase borders it via Hartel St. on the northeast. The name Ryers comes from the Ryerss Estate which is located in Burholme Park along Central Avenue.
