Haddon Township, New Jersey
Haddon Township is a township in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 14,707, reflecting an increase of 56 (+0.4%) from the 14,651 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 186 (-1.3%) from the 14,837 counted in the 1990 Census. By an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 23, 1865, Haddon Township was incorporated from portions of Newton Township.

Despite its location just 5 miles from Philadelphia, Saddler's Woods includes wetlands, young woodlands, and old-growth forest. The Arowmen and Erinwonek tribes of the Lenape people once lived in the area. Beginning in the 17th century, the surrounding forests were cleared for farms, timber, and fuel by European settlers.
