Metro Detroit

The Detroit metropolitan area, often referred to as Metro Detroit, is the metropolitan area located in Southeast Michigan centered on the city of Detroit which shares an international border with Windsor, Ontario. Continuous-flow intersection

Continuous flow intersection (CFI), also called a crossover displaced left-turn (XDL), is an at-grade intersection that moves the turning vehicles, conflicting with the through-movements (to the left where traffic drives on the right, and vice-versa), out of the main intersection. A CFI moves the left turn down the road several hundred feet, eliminating the left-turn traffic signal phase.

Dearborn Center for Math, Science and Technology (DCMST) is a specialized secondary education center with a four year advanced, research based, science and math curriculum located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Parkland, Detroit

Parkland is a neighborhood located in the far western section of Detroit, Michigan. The neighborhood is often thought to be part of the neighboring Warrendale neighborhood, which it borders to the east. Parkland is roughly bounded by West Warren Avenue, Ann Arbor Trail, West Parkway Street, and Parkland Street. Eliza Howell Park

Eliza Howell Park is a public park in Brightmoor, Detroit, Michigan. Howell Park, near Fenkell and Telegraph, has 250 acres of land, making it the fourth largest park in Detroit; this is about one fourth of the area of Belle Isle or .25 square miles . A greenway links Howell with Stoepel Park. Howell has a 1.5-mile nature trail that, in 2009, was recently constructed.
