Hanborough railway station
Hanborough railway station is a railway station serving the village of Long Hanborough in Oxfordshire, England. As a result of the Cotswold Line being singled the former up platform is the only one now in use for both up and down trains. It is served by First Great Western trains between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill. There is a passenger-operated ticket machine (card payments only; not cash) at the entrance to the station platform.
Combe railway station
Combe railway station serves the village of Combe in Oxfordshire, England. It is on the Cotswold Line. This station and all trains serving it are run by First Great Western. On weekdays (including bank holidays), only one train in each direction serves the station: the 07:58 to Oxford and the 17:43 to Great Malvern. There are no trains at weekends. It was opened as Combe Halt by the Great Western Railway in 1935, originally having two platforms.

Eynsham Abbey
Eynsham Abbey was a Benedictine monastery in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, in England between 1005 and 1538. King Æthelred allowed Æthelmær the Stout to found the abbey in 1005. There is some evidence that the abbey was built on the site of an earlier minster, probably founded in the 7th or 8th centuries. The first abbot of the abbey was the prolific writer Ælfric (c.955-c.1010). For some reason the abbey was destroyed at the Norman Conquest. Eynsham Abbey was in the Diocese of Dorchester.
Tilgarsley
Tilgarsley was a village in Oxfordshire. It was recorded as existing in 1279 and was abandoned before 1350 as a result of the Black Death. It is thought to be sites on what is now Bowles Farm, north west of Eynsham.
The Bell Inn, Long Hanborough
The Bell Inn, Long Hanborough is a well-established restaurant and public house in the village Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire, England. The Bell borders the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock where Sir Winston Churchill was born. It is approximately 5 miles from Witney. It was renovated in 2008, providing an open-plan interior with bar and restaurant. Outside, there are views over the Evenlode Valley. The pub featured in a food riot by women at the turn of the 19th century.
Hanborough
Hanborough is a civil parish in West Oxfordshire. The parish includes the villages of Church Hanborough (Ordnance Survey grid reference SP4212) and Long Hanborough (OS grid ref. SP4114). The village of Freeland was transferred from Eynsham civil parish to Hanborough in 1932 and then detached to form a separate civil parish in 1948. Both Church Hanborough and Long Hanborough are served by Hanborough railway station.
Combe Mill
Combe Mill is a historic sawmill situated adjacent to the River Evenlode close to Combe railway station, between the villages of Combe and Long Hanborough in Oxfordshire, England. The mill was restored in the early 1970s and is now open to the public. Originally powered by a waterwheel, there is now a beam engine.
