North Dorset
North Dorset is a local government district in Dorset, England. It is largely rural, but includes the towns of Blandford Forum, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Stalbridge and Sturminster Newton. Much of North Dorset is in the River Stour valley and is called the Blackmore Vale. The economy of North Dorset is largely dairy agriculture based.
Hod Hill
Hod Hill (or Hodd Hill) is a large hill fort in the Blackmore Vale, 3 miles north-west of Blandford Forum, Dorset, England. The fort sits on a 143 m chalk hill of the same name that lies between the adjacent Dorset Downs and Cranborne Chase. The hill fort at Hambledon Hill is just to the north. The fort is roughly rectangular (600 by 400 m), with an enclosed area of 22 ha .

Blandford Forum railway station
Blandford Forum railway station was a station on the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway between Templecombe and Broadstone, England. It served the town of Blandford Forum. Track was finally lifted in 1969, as the railway was still open until the closure of the Blandford's goods terminal that year. The station was immortalised in 1964 in the song "Slow Train" by Flanders and Swann.
The Coade Hall
The Coade Hall is a brick-built theatre and concert hall at Bryanston School, near Blandford Forum in Dorset, England. It was opened in 27 May 1966 by the Duke of Edinburgh On the opening night, there was a concert with music by Brahms, Britten, and Mozart. The Coade Hall is named after Thorold Coade, headmaster of Bryanston School from 1932 to 1959. It is used for professional performances and also by the school for drama, assemblies, and other communal activities.
