Scarborough—Rouge River
Scarborough—Rouge River is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the Canadian House of Commons since 1988. The riding covers the northeast part of the Scarborough part of Toronto. It stretches from Highway 401 in the south to Steeles Avenue in the north. In the east it ends at the border with Pickering and to just west of Midland in the west.
Old Finch Avenue Bailey Bridge
The Old Finch Avenue bridge is a Bailey bridge in Toronto. The Finch bridge is used for limited vehicular traffic on Old Finch Avenue in north-east Toronto to cross the Rouge River. The bridge dates back to late October 1954; it was constructed by the army in three working days (including the timber piles supporting in mid-stream) using bridge components from Ontario Hydro, after Hurricane Hazel destroyed the old one.
