Unionville GO Station
Unionville GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Stouffville commuter railway line. This station is also served by Highway 407 East Express buses, which run westbound to York University, northbound to Mount Joy GO Station, and eastbound to the Oshawa Bus Terminal. The station was built in 1991 to replace the old Unionville Station on Main Street Unionville. GO Trains stopped at the old station from 1982 to 1991.

Hagerman's Corners is an unincorporated community in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Located at 14th Avenue and Kennedy Road, the former farm lands have disappeared and given way to homes and commercial parks. It is geographically located between the communities of Milliken Mills and Unionville, within the city of Markham. Hagerman's Corners was founded in 1803 by Nicholas Hagerman, who owned the property at the NW corner of the intersection.

Market Village is a 325,000 square feet Chinese shopping mall in Markham, Ontario, Canada, just north of Toronto. Built by Cedarland Properties Limited in 1990, it attempts to mirror and mimic a rural town Ontario; the northwest and southeast façades feature barn-like and farm house designs. In the 1800s and early 1900s, the property was farmland. Market Village was built as a retail addition to the Cullen Country Barns located to the west side of the new mall along Kennedy Road.

It teaches from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Aldergrove P.S. was officially opened in 1987. Named for former Olympic athlete and Chair of the York Region District School Board, Bill Crothers, the school opened its doors to Grade 9 and 10 students in August 2008. The school is 32 acres and cost an estimated $32 million to build.
