Lincoln Fields Station
Lincoln Fields Station is a station on Ottawa's transitway located at Carling Avenue and the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. It is adjacent but not connected to nearby Lincoln Heights Galleria Shopping Centre. It is the main western hub of the transitway system and has a ticket sales and information office as well as a small convenience store.
Queensway Station (OC Transpo)
Queensway Transitway Station is located around and under the Queensway along the southwest transitway leg. The upper platforms provide access to the crosstown route 101, while the lower platforms are for transitway routes such as route 95 and eastbound trips of route 96. Despite its seemingly isolated location, this station serves nearby residential areas through the bikepath which is to the west of the transit station.
Iris Station
Iris Transitway Station is located at a grade-level crossing at the southwest transitway and Iris Street (a collector road through several neighborhoods in west end Ottawa). It is one of the smallest stations and one of the least used, because it is located only 400m (1/4 mile) south of Queensway Station, has no trip generators apart from residential areas in the area, and does not have any major routes connecting at the station.
Whitehaven, Ottawa
Whitehaven is a neighbourhood about 10 kilometres west of downtown Ottawa. It is bounded by Carling Avenue to the north, Woodroffe Avenue to the east, the OC Transpo Transitway to the west and highway 417 to the south. Whitehaven was developed on the lands of Fox farm starting in the 1950s. The Fox farm homestead can still be found on Fox Crescent in the north part of the neighbourhood with its windmill tower now shaded by a large tree.
Bayshore Station
Bayshore Transitway Station is a transit station on Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's transitway served by OC Transpo buses. It is located in the western transitway section at the Bayshore Shopping Centre. It is the western terminus for rapid transit route 97 and route 101, as well as other crosstown routes such as route 2 and route 85. Prior to its construction, buses used Woodridge Crescent and entered the shopping centre parking lot, which is prone to congestion and extensive delays.

Bayshore Shopping Centre is a major shopping mall located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, more specifically in the former city of Nepean, Ontario. The mall is one of the busiest in the National Capital Region as it attracts about 7 million visitors per year from across the city and the surrounding region. The mall is commonly called simply "Bayshore" by local residents. The current general manager of the mall is Denis Pelletier. The mall security is assured by GARDA Canada.
Glabar Park
Glabar Park is a neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's west end. It is bounded on the west by Woodroffe Avenue, north by Carling Avenue, south by The Queensway and on the east Maitland Drive and by McKellar Heights. Its population is about 1,700. The neighbourhood was first built in the late 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. In 1985 townhouses on Esterlawn Drive were built which is off Fairlawn Drive just behind Fairlawn Mall.
Pinecrest Station
Pinecrest Station is a Transitway station in Ottawa, Ontario, that began service on September 6, 2009. The name is due to the station's close proximity to Pinecrest Road. On June 9, 2006, Then-Ottawa Mayor Bob Chiarelli announced an extension of the West Transitway that include a 1.8 kilometre stretch of transitway from Bayshore Station to Pinecrest Road including the new station and located near the road previously served as a regular stop for westbound buses such as route 96 and route 101.

Carlingwood Mall
Carlingwood Mall (or also called Carlingwood Shopping Centre) is a major mall located in the west end of the city of Ottawa, Ontario. It is operated by 20 Vic Management Incorporated. The mall opened in 1956 and was one of the city's first major shopping centres.
Woodroffe North
Woodroffe North is a neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario. It is bounded on the south by the former CPR right-of-way, on the north by the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway and on the east and west by National Capital Commission (NCC) property which is part of or adjacent to the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. Woodroffe North has also been referred to as a community within the neighbourhood of Westboro (also known as Westboro Village) which claims its western border to be Woodroffe Avenue.
Michelle Heights, Ottawa
Michele Heights is a small neighbourhood located in Ottawa, Ontario. Located in the west end of the city, it is bounded by Bayshore Drive in the west, the Ottawa River to the north, Pinecrest Road to the east and Richmond Road to the south. The neighborhood, along with nearby Britannia, Bayshore, Fairfield Heights, Lincoln Heights and Foster Farm is known to have one of the highest crime rates in the city due notably of the presence of some gang groups.

In the 1999 provincial election, however, former Member of Provincial Parliament Alex Cullen lost the nomination to Rick Chiarelli following fierce party battles.

D. Roy Kennedy is a public elementary and middle school in the Bay Ward of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, offering classes from kindergarten to grade 8. It is located at the corner of Woodroffe Avenue and Lenester Avenue in Ottawa's Glabar Park neighbourhood. The school is named after D. Roy Kennedy, who would in later years become a prominent Kiwanian and Ottawa educator. The school is notable for its music program, and its emphasis on French immersion.
Woodpark, Ottawa
Woodpark is a small neighbourhood in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded in the north by Richmond Road, to the East by Woodroffe Avenue north, in the South by Carling Avenue and in the West by the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. It is largely residential with commercial only on Carling Avenue. There is only one small park, New Orchard Park, within its boundaries, but both the Parkway and part of the Byron Strip are adjacent to it. It has no schools or churches.
Fairlawn Centre
Fairlawn Plaza is a strip mall on Carling Avenue in Ottawa-West, Ontario, Canada. The mall opened in the 1961 when the plaza's original tenants were Steinberg's grocery store and J. Pascal Hardware. Miracle Mart was also one of the early tenants. Canadian Tire was a tenant for many years until it closed in 2009 and moved to a new super-store location at Carling and Clyde Avenue. The Royal Bank of Canada also had a branch at the plaza.
Britannia Yacht Club
The Britannia Yacht Club (BYC) is a private social club, yacht club and tennis club based in Britannia Ottawa, Ontario. It was founded in 1887 by a group of cottagers. The members have contributed to the sports of yachting and tennis. The non profit corporation is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2012. The main entrance is on Cassels at Bradford Street. BYC is located on an extension of land at the eastern end of Lac Deschênes near the Deschênes Rapids on the Ottawa River.
