Mount Royal

The Montreal Tamtams are a drum circle based in Montreal, Canada. The free event gathers thousands of drum players, dancers, vendors and visitors, every Sunday, at the George-Étienne Cartier Monument in Mount Royal Park. Mount Royal Cross

The Mount Royal Cross is a monument on top of Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It stands at the northeastern peak of the mountain and overlooks the eastern part of the island. The first cross was first erected atop Mount Royal by the city's founder, Paul Chomedey de Maisonneuve, in 1643 thereby fulfilling his vow to the Virgin Mary in his prayers to end a disastrous flood. An illuminated cross was installed in 1924 by the Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste and was given to the city in 1929.

McConnell Arena

McConnell Arena is a Canadian ice hockey arena located on the corner of Pine Avenue and Park Avenue in Montreal, Quebec. The arena is owned and operated by McGill University, and is the home to the McGill Redmen men's and McGill Martlets women's ice hockey teams. The ice surface is the standard North American size, 61 metres (200 feet) long by 26 metres (85 feet) wide. The arena renovated in 2004 and has a capacity of 1,600 people.

The Mount Royal Funicular Railway, also known as the Mountain Park Funicular Railway and the Mount Royal Elevator, was a funicular railway serving Mount Royal Park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from 1884 to 1918. Ravenscrag, Montreal

Ravenscrag was a mansion built between 1860 and 1863 in the Golden Square Mile of Montreal, Quebec, for Sir Hugh Allan. In 1942, his son, Sir Montague Allan, donated the property to the Royal Victoria Hospital for use as a medical facility, when it's famously sumptuous interior was completely stripped and gutted. Today the building is known as the Allan Memorial Institute and is part of the McGill University Faculty of Medicine.
