Cleveland State University (also known as Cleveland State or CSU) is a public university located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1964 when the state of Ohio assumed control of Fenn College, and it absorbed the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1969. East 34th – Campus (RTA Rapid Transit station)
East 34th–Campus Station is station on the RTA Rapid Transit system in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, serving the Red, Blue and Green Lines. It is located just east of East 34th Street near the intersection of East 34th and Broadway, on the north side of the CSX railway tracks, and below the bridge that carries East 34th Street over the railway tracks. The station is somewhat unusual in that it combines a high-level platform rapid transit station with a low-level platform light rail station.
State Theatre (Cleveland, Ohio)
The State Theatre is a theater on Euclid Avenue, Cleveland in downtown Cleveland, Ohio that is part of Playhouse Square. It was designed by architect Thomas W. Lamb to be the flagship of Marcus Loew's Loew's Ohio Theatres company. State Theatre was built in an Italian Renaissance style and was intended to show vaudeville shows and movies. It opened on February 5, 1921, seating 3,400.

Cleveland University
Cleveland University was a short-lived university in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. It was founded by Asa Mahan in 1851, the then-recently resigned president of Oberlin College located in nearby Oberlin, Ohio. It is notable for having been the first institution of higher education in the city of Cleveland, and for briefly being a "rival" institution to Oberlin College.
Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center
The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center (CCJDC) is a youth detention center located in Cleveland, Ohio. It is accredited by the American Correctional Association Commission on Accreditation for Corrections. Its average daily population in 2007 was 163 residents, a condition which was described as overcrowded. CCJDC is the oldest detention center for youths in the United States. It was designed by the Frank W. Bail Co. and opened in December 1931.

Roughly bounded by the river to the west and Northwest, Broadway Avenue and E.34th Street to the east, Orange Ave to the north and the now defunct Newburgh & South Shore Railway tracks.
