Knowlton Township, New Jersey
Knowlton Township is a township in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 3,055. Knowlton Township was created by Royal Charter on February 23, 1763, from portions of Oxford Township, while the area was still part of Sussex County. Knowlton Township was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798, and then became part of the newly-created Warren County on November 20, 1824.
Worthington State Forest
Worthington State Forest is a state forest located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, just above the water gap, in Warren County, New Jersey. It covers an area of 6,421 acres and stretches for more than seven miles along the Kittatinny Ridge near Columbia. The park offers hiking, camping (including a hike-in, primitive area) and canoeing and kayaking on the Delaware.
Paulinskill Viaduct
The Paulinskill Viaduct, also known as the Hainesburg Viaduct, is a reinforced concrete railroad bridge that crosses the Paulins Kill in Knowlton Township, New Jersey. When completed in 1910, it was the largest reinforced concrete structure in the world.
Delaware River Viaduct
The Delaware River Viaduct is a reinforced concrete railroad bridge across the Delaware River about 2 miles south of the Delaware Water Gap. It also crosses Interstate 80 on the east (New Jersey) side of the river and Slateford Road and the Lackawanna Railroad's "Old Road" on the west (Pennsylvania) side. The bridge was built in 1908-10 as part of the Lackawanna Cut-Off rail line; it is the sister to the line's larger Paulinskill Viaduct.
Sunfish Pond
Sunfish Pond is a 44-acre glacial lake surrounded by a 258-acre hardwood forest located on the Kittatinny Ridge within Worthington State Forest, adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Warren County, New Jersey. The Appalachian Trail runs alongside the western and northern edges of the pond. It was created by the Wisconsin Glacier during the last ice age. The pond was declared a National Natural Landmark in January 1970.
Slateford Junction
Slateford Junction was a railway junction in the small town of Slateford, Pennsylvania where the existing mainline of the Lackawanna Railroad joined the new Lackawanna Cut-Off. The junction had an interlocking tower and turntable, but no station. The tower opened on December 20, 1911, four days before the opening of the Cut-Off. The junction sat 28.5 miles west of Port Morris Junction where the Cut-Off connects with New Jersey Transit's Montclair-Boonton Line.

Slateford is an unincorporated community in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. The nearest communities are Stroudsburg to the north and Portland to the south. Slateford is about 1 mile (1.4 km) from the Delaware Water Gap. Its name comes from its location at the edge of the Northhampton Slate Belt. Immigrants from Wales and England came in the 19th century to work in the slate quarries.
